Anyone know of a good add-blocker (not popup blockers) like the add-on used
with Mozilla FF but that works with IE7? Popups are blocked in IE7 but the
ads are a real drag and slow page downloads.
Can't use Mozilla FF anymore since uninstalling V3. Add-ons can no longer be
installed.

MagicJack popup blocker

MagicJack (MJ) pops up a window when you receive a call or someone picks
up a phone connected to MJ.
I haven't succumbed yet to getting this toy but probably will. I'll
first test it in a virtual machine (VMware Server supports USB ports
whereas VirtualPC does not). That way I can see how it digs into the OS
and what ports it uses (to establish a QoS rule in the router on that

Simple Client Side cart clobbered by popup blocker

I recently noticed that the cart.html page is being blocked by some browsers (Opera 9 in particular).
I only notice this when the "Add to Cart" button is pressed, not when the "View Cart" button is used.
Hunting around the net, the issue seems to be that the page is being called by a process, and not a button click (even though the "add to cart" button in the form was clicked, it goes to a function to open the page). Popup blockers evidently allow button click popups that the user "wan...

I've been doing some work with the TinyMCE HTML javascript based
editor. That uses popups for inserting images and links.
Now, those work fine with no complaints from the browser, even IE. But
if I try to open another popup window from that popup, I start seeing
the popup blockers kicking in.
So, how do I work around the popup blockers, and why didn't they kick
in with the first pop up?

tons of popups coming up even with popup blocker on
— Well a few nights ago, I decide to try msn messenger and all that. I think the day after or two I click on a site (by accident) that is not that great...well anyways, I don't use msn and things have been acting weird with it so I uninstall it along with the tool bar. PopUp blocker gesucht
— Hey ich suche einen blocker mit dem ich werbung deaktivieren kann. ich hab mal einen gesehen da is ein kleines symbo unten rechts auf dem internet fenster.
