Did they NOT explain to you you can't mouth off about the CiC in boot camp?

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over. I'm of the opinion that if you can't vote in this election, you have no business posting in this thread.

As you were. I'll be voting for Bob Barr, although I'm a big fan of warmongery.

No matter who wins, nothing's going to change. That's pretty much been proven by anyone that cares...

Though, since I believe in voting either way.

I'll be voting for the person that will actually make an attempt at not letting USA get pushed around for 4 years.

McCain. Though he's a terrible orator.

Ron Paul.

Since I'm not far off from the voting age, I feel I can say John McCain, mostly for Sarah Palin.

I think its safe to say I'm practically in love with her.

Personally I think McCain's view of the Georgia conflict seems pretty oversimplified and idealistic.

At the present time I'm not sure if he's as staunchly neoconservative with foreign policy as Guiliani or the first-term George W.

Administration, but if he is then that alone puts me on Obama's side.

Time will tell. Also important is knowing what kinds of foreign policy advisors he would surround himself with.

Again, if he takes a cue from the Bush administration on that, no thanks.

We don't need academic fossils like Bernard Lewis influencing our foreign policy. I'm not 100% on Obama's side but I am leaning that way.

Palin scares the crap out of me, she shouldn't be anywhere near the Oval Office.

Although I wouldn't mind meeting her two older daughters...

One of them's only 13

My pick is for John McCain.

Although I wouldn't mind meeting her two older daughters... You saying that pretty much proves that you ought to just come out and be a liberal and vote Obama.

Obama is a liberal piece of ****.

He stands for everything I'm against, and vice versa.

He stands for everything I'm against, and vice versa. 1 for my team. He wants to donate all the money we use right now on the war to passing out free hugs I believe? effing liberals.

Don't forget raising the taxes.

That right there is just an amazing plan...

McCain... I really wanted Fred Thompson, but McCain sure beat the alternative..

I just can't stand Obama, not even as a person.

McCain. He has way more experience and knows how the government works way more than obama does.

I'd rather have Huckabee, but McCain was my second pick.

Palin brings a lot to the table, aside from her inexperience.

(Obama is just as inexperienced) She knows the issues, having a son that is going to iraq, and has a child with special needs.

She'll be able to handle the issues, so will McCain.

Sure he's old, but he's a vet.

He knows what troops overseas are feelin', himself being a 'nam vet. He's got my vote If I was old enough to vote

McCain made an excellent choice with Palin.

She knows what's goin' on.

As for who I am voting for, I am not sure.

I liked the McCain of 2000 and the McCain before he went from the renegade to the complacent man who sold his sole to the religious right.

I was even considering forgiving him and voting for him still until he nominated Palin.

(I still do not understand how anyone can think that she was a good choice on any grounds other than getting McCain elected) Even then I am not sold on Obama.

If McCain would have nominated Lieberman I would have voted for a Republican, making that a republican vote for the last three elections.
