F**k Al Gore

And David Suzuki. Two people the world would be better of if with as mute. Al Gore - Watch my propaganda film An Inconvenient Spoof, and give up your evil ways or the wold will die. David Suzuki - Hi, my generation f**ked everything up and its your generation's job to fix it.

Air Conditioning is the devil. Both of them are f**ktards and their very existence is a hindrance to the well being of us all. f**k them and f**k anyone who buys into their fear mongering bullchit. Thoughts?

In one way, yes I agree with you, but in another way my attitude is a bit less standof-ish.

As being a techy kind guy my whole life, I think we should enjoy things like air conditioning and fast cars, it's time to make these things reliable and efficient, we have the technology Here is a funny statistic If the gas engine developed as fast as the computer a litre of gasoline would fuel the entire United Kingdom for 1.5 years

I have a lot of thoughts but sometimes if you can't say something nice it's best not to say anything at all.

All that is necessary for the conquest of evil is for good men to do nothing.

Im not saying Al Gore is evil but without opposing opinons a lot of people (hell, they already do) interpret all his BS as fact.

Regardless of whether you buy into his eco friendly speel or not, i still think he would have made a better president than Bush.

A monkie witha heroin addiction and a lisp woulda made a better president then Bush....

True

Im sure he would have handled things differently but Im not sure if there wouldnt be a great deal of other problems. Im not saying GWB is great or good, but depending on how prominent Gore would have made his environmentalism stuff...

Gas would probably be $10/gallon in the states right now and people who buy a Prius are exempt from paying income tax in that calendar year. I dont have enough information to have an eduacted opinion about the US presence in Iraq (and nor do any of you).

But I do support the mission in Afghanistan.

I think that you should evaluate everything for it's truthfulness.

But I also think that sometimes people are so busy opposing something just to oppose it that they go too far the other way.

I am by no means some crazy eco nut or staunch environmentalist.

But I do think that if everyone did even ONE small thing it would make a huge difference.

It's just frustrating to see that people think everything is theirs for consumption.

It's a narrow minded viewpoint in my opinion.

I watched An Inconvenient Truth and took it all with a grain of salt.

It was interesting but I then went and tried to check the facts and do my own research....instead of just taking it as gospel.

All i know is that when gore was in office and the oil barons where not running the presidency i paid 49.9 for gas on welliington in my truck in 2001..

Oil was 18 a barrel,,, now we pay a lot more for natural gas, electricity and gasoline...

And I'm going to bash gore and Suzuki or as i see it....

The war was actually won by those who it was fought for Gore is a hypocrite for his use of electricity at his mansion and not running for political office on anything he preaches now,  not to mention his use of private jets..

Do some research before blindly quoting press snippets you heard.

I read the whole article...

Regardless of the difference between reports (of him using between 20 and 12 times the avergae ammount) he does consume energy at a rate several times gretaer then the average household.

I don't care if he does run a business from his house or pay a premium to buy his energy from "green" energy sources (which he may or may not have a vested interest in), I would deem it hypocritical as well.

Betcha he has a couple hundred "room-mates"/grow op going on his basement...

Consuming THAT much energy is suspicous!

He's not going around preaching and then sitting at home rubbing his hands together doing an evil laugh while every possible thing is ON at his house.

That's where the misconception lies (not the 12 or 20 marker....that doesn't really matter).

What annoys me is people using that snippet and then using it to justify their own ways.

The War in Iraq is all about lies the sheep were lied into it Trees are the earth lungs

Hypocrytical is hypocritical. If he is telling people to reduce energy and yet consumes many times the avarage level, that is hypocritical...

Saying He's not as hypocritical as people are making out though.

Doesn't change that fact.   its nitpicking I know I think he is trying to get accross an important message though...

We as a whole need to show more respect for our environment and try not to be wasting resources that are not infinite. Baked: that sounds like a paranoid pot headed statement  pass that chit around dude

If gore so believed in all this why did he not run on this platform for the presidency

Cberth - he did....it was a 'plank' in his platform for sure.
