Sick of the Democratic Primary - Legion of Lions
Sick of the Democratic Primary So...
How many people are sick of the Democratic Primary???
I mean unless Hillary Clinton can convience the Super Delegates that she should be allowed to steal the nomination from Obama....
The race is complete...
Hillary I guess just likes to flush her own money down the toilet...
She's put over 11 million in the crapper...
Why not a little bit more...

Re: Sick of the Democratic Primary At this point in the game she would have to beat Obama in every state by 80 to 20 to win.
It is over and all she is doing is delaying.
Hopefully she wakes up soon so we can start to see some battles between Obama and McCain.

Re: Sick of the Democratic Primary but but but..
She totally won Michigan!
Obama didn't even get votes there!

Re: Sick of the Democratic Primary WHAT is Clinton thinking???
Clinton touts support from 'white Americans'

Re: Sick of the Democratic Primary That is puzzling, especially considering that Obama did slightly better with whites in IN and NC than he did in PA.
And what's this "hard-working Americans" stuff?
Educated white people don't work hard?
Black people don't work hard?
I know she doesn't think that, but she's going a bit far with this I-am-the-common-woman stuff.
The other day she was asked about why she supported a gas-tax holiday when every-economist-in-the-world says it's a bad idea, and she kept saying how she didn't hold with all these "elite opinions." She must have said "elite opinions" three times in answering that question.
She suddenly thinks shes Ma Kettle or something.
It cracks me up.
Of couse, I hear that Obama stopped in a Raleigh bar the other day and order a Pabst Blue Ribbon.
And I see that photo of him farther down on that page you linked.
Look! He's wearing blue jeans and carrying his own bag!
He is the common man!
So he's getting in on the action, too.
But at least he hasn't started talking like a moron.

Re: Sick of the Democratic Primary ...yeah...
Hillary Clinton is a common woman....
That loans her campaign 11.4 million dollars...
I wanna find this common street....
I find it comical that Hillary Clinton calls Barrack Obama an "elitist"....
Take last years book deal out of the picture...
And his family income is a modest amount...
It's in the ball park a 350-450k....
But NO WHERE near the 10 million a year the Clinton family has shown they make....

Re: Sick of the Democratic Primary the fact that democrats are keenly aware of pandering bullshit and what it means when a republican says it, but somehow abdicate that knowledge completely when their own candidate starts in, means that it's McCain 4tw.
Iraq is the new korea.
Yay.

Re: Sick of the Democratic Primary Quote: : That's true of anyone in any situation.
It's a classic us vs.
Them mentality in which it's always easier to see the bad in them.
I blame professional sports.

Re: Sick of the Democratic Primary I'm kind of torn.
On the one hand, I guess it's possible that keeping their finances separated could be a convenient way for him to benefit-by-proxy from investments that he otherwise wouldn't be able to if his name were actually on them ...
And that would be bad.
For example, she (by proxy, they) could own shares in a company that he's helped in Congress.
That would look bad, and in fact, there might be something shady going on, but we'd never see the red flags because he's never had to disclose the connection.
On the other hand, she's her own person.
She's not merely an extension of her husband.
If she wants to keep her financial affairs private, she has every right to.
So I guess I don't think that spouses should be required to disclose, but I think it's probably a good idea if they do.
Either way, I'm not personally that concerned about it.

Re: Sick of the Democratic Primary If my wife became town mayor or something I'd support her, but I sure as hell wouldn't want constituents looking through my garbage.
It's not that I'm hiding a dead body, I just don't want people going through my garbage.

Re: Sick of the Democratic Primary If they have filed jointly in the past and it was just this year they didn't then I think she should have to disclose her income and such...
If they have not filed jointly ever or in a long time then I would say her finances are private and should remain that way.
