I was watching CNN on high-def and they're talking about gun battles between Shiites and Sunnis..
What's up with that?

Just look at the Troubles caused in Northern Island (and over in the UK) due to the Catholic and Protestant Christians fighting...

Are full of history based on religeous differences, as is Spain.
But these people (no offense to any Arabs or Persians here) have been fighting this crap for centuries and it has really gotten old...and fast.

Some believed that Muhammed's cousin was the heir after his death, and others disagreed.
Nowadays its more focused by territorial claim.
Although religion definitely plays a key role, there are confrentations due to the belief of who owns what and where.
And the terrorist groups don't help the situation one bit.
If you want to fight a country's government and military, I have no problem with that at all, because at least that's a declaration of war, but killing innocent people (not by accident) is just absolutely disgusting.
They want to their 70 virgins?
Well I hope when they get up there that they get 70 gay men.
Nobody said anything about those virgins having to be female.
That's God's way of saying (in the word's of Scarface) "You with me, you with the best!"

Islam has been a religion that has stood the test of time for thousands of years.
Unfortunately no one has decided to make it peaceful.
As long as they aren't trying to mess with my troops Im ok with these guys duking it out.
Maybe they will learn, or maybe they won't.
Hey every dead guy means one less potential terrorist or trouble maker I have to worry about, so why not?

2 people have posted a witty little sentence whilst quoting this post but won't explain their reasons for doing so.
If you don't agree with what I said then say so, you should learn to attack what I said not who I am.
In fact this is principal that created the freedoms many of our nations enjoy, instead of living in one of the many countries in the world where saying things that others don't agree with will result in violence or at best the threat of violence.
