NFL Forum :: - Worst team decisions in the last 5 years

So what have been the worst team moves in the last 5 years. Just some off the top of my head... -Pistons draft Darko ahead of Melo, Wade, Bosh, ect... -Knicks trading 2 unprotected 1st round picks for Eddie Curry -Nuggets giving up 3 first rounder in a sign/trade for Kmart -Suns giving away a 2010 unprotected Knicks pick to the Jazz to save $$$ -Suns trading away the 7th pick in 2004 with Deng and Iggy sitting there -Boston trading the 7th pick in 2006 for Telfair.

Pick used to take B.

Roy -Cavs signing Hughes to a big contract killing their cap space -Bulls signing Ben Wallace to such a big contract I could list a lot more but I thought I would let you all take over.

It could be signing a player, a bad trade, bad coach hiring, anything that has hurt your team the past 5 years.

I know last year, trading for Jason Kidd was a bad decision by trading Devin Harris.

Resigning Diop lessens the blow

Either Cavs signing Hughes or Pistons not taking Wade or Bosh

Bulls trading Tyrus Thomas for Lamarcus Aldridge. The Knicks in General. My name is Drago.

I'm a fighter from the Soviet Union.

I fight all my life and I never lose.

I gotta go with my squad- Milwaukee Bucks -firing Terry Porter -hiring Terry Stotts -hiring Larry K -drafting Bogut ahead of Chis Paul But the biggest screw-up is Herb Kohl not selling the team to MJ.

-Sixers trading for Chris Webber -Sonics electing not to resign Nate McMillan -Hawks passing on both Deron Williams and Chris Paul -Pistons letting go of Larry Brown -Pistons hiring and thinking Flip Saunders can win them a ring -Michael Jordan drafting Morrison over Gay -Sixers firing Jim O'Brien just so they can sign their boy Moe Cheeks

- The Pistons trading D.J White - Bobcats taking Adam Morrison with the third overall selection. - The Pistons drafting Darko - The Bobcats trading for Jason Richardson - The Bulls trading away Lamarcus Aldridge. - The Bulls signing washed up Ben Wallace to a monster contract. - The Wizards signing Gilbert Arenas to a monster contract - The Timberwolves trading away the rights to O.J Mayo for Kevin Love Just a few that I thought of, but I could go on and on.

– Yaroslav Korolev not playing. – Tim Thomas being signed. – Cuttino Mobley being signed. – Elton Brand letting walk. – Corey Maggette not trading. Ervin Santana (Pre-Sig): 6-0, 2.02 ERA, 0.88 WHIP, .193 BAA, 49.0 IP, 38 K, 9 BB Ervin Santana (Post-Sig): 5-3, 4.15 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, .249 BAA, 80.1 IP, 84 K, 25 BB

Blaze Quote: : - The Bobcats trading for Jason Richardson Are you serious?

He carried the Bobcats last year.

I don't think you can say thats one of the worst decisions in the past 5 years.

The Wolves trading Sam Cassell and a first round pick for Marco Jaric.

We gave up a solid PG and a first rounder for some guy who coulnd't even get playing time for us.

We gave up a solid PG and a first rounder for some guy who coulnd't even get playing time for us. That was a horribly terrible trade.

I like Marco Jaric but i wish his contract wasnt so gross.

I like Marco Jaric but i wish his contract wasnt so gross. How can anyone like Marko, I think the only reason I would even make mention of him (other than the stupid trade the wolves did to get him, the horrible contract the wolves gave him, or how much he SUCKS!) is his girlfriend Adriana Lima...

That would be the only reason to like him, seeing her at the home games made things a lil bit better this last year.

Kings drafting Quincy Douby instead of Rajon Rondo.

They didn't need Wade, Melo or Bosh and I would have picked Darko if the draft was today based on needs.
