Just thought you guys might want to know, if nobody has noticed this yet.
The SS colors listed in the Ordering workbook do not show Imperial Blue or Aqua Blue.
However, they do show in the LT page.
Does anyone know whats up with that, im not going to order either of these colors, but I thought you guys might like to know.

From what I understand, the workbook might not be finalized or completely accurate.

I want my SS in blue (or even better, green!).
See, this is why I'm waiting a few years (that, and I can't afford it now anyway.)

Really a disappointment...hope the book gets updated to show Aqua Blue...that was going to be my color!

Nothing's for sure yet...I can't imagine them leaving out a metallic blue for SS people.
But, stranger things have happened.
Time will tell.

I am going to chalk it up to an error in the proof reading at this point.
We'll see on the 13th.
If blue wasn't going to be available on the SS, it would have come out at Indy.

Aqua blue is about as close as im getting to le mans blue.
If they scrap the aqua blue ill be getten the camaro cutom painted le mans blue.
Good thing my best friends dad is a runs a body shop with a paint both.

Colors change on what automakers think is in more demand at the time.
Around 1997, that hunter green was popular on cars like the Taurus.

EH sorta if you blink, you'll miss all the hype this week with the "workbook".
Just wait for Friday, we will get to see the CUSTOMER Order version, that's the one to care about.

I had nearly convinced myself that I would forget about the HUD and go ahead and place an order but now this is just driving me insane.
I can't settle on multiple things I want being left off....
One maybe, but not multiple.
This is a sad day for me.

Maybe the ss is getting Jetstream Blue, i think its probably just a mistake like Scott was saying, im not sure so don't Quote: me

For all the people wanting green, I started a poll/petition for adding that color for, say, perhaps MY2011.
I forgot where the poll is at but I'm sure a search will turn it up.
People from GM have said that when it comes to color, they offer whatever is demanded.
Unlike features, this isn't a cost issue (unless of course, you're talking about Bumblebee paint jobs and the like.) So if they hear that there is big demand for a certain color on a certain model, they'll probably offer it.
So just be vocal about what you want.

I noticed that too, and I am sincerely hoping that that is one of the "mistakes" that fbodfather mentioned about the ordering guide.
I want a blue Camaro SS, and I was looking to get one early on, but if I can't get an SS in blue, I'm probably going to have to wait.
It doesn't seem it should be a problem offering the blue colors on the SS as well.
It's still pretty much the same body as the V6, so it's just a matter of using paint that's already there on a body that's already there...
Here's hoping.

Traditionally the top performance level, SS, Z06, etc.
Has been offered in limited colors.
Not a surprize some colors were left out.

Honestly I hope it is a mistake because that could be a deal breaker.
I settled on black for my GLI and I love it but every time I see a blue one I wish I had bought one earlier.
I will not make the same mistake twice...
If this is indeed the case then I'm sorry but if i paying over 30 grand for a brand new car I'm not gonna settle for anything, especially something as major as color.
I will keep the faith because so far GM has delivered and I dont think they are that dumb
