The race card...
right from the top of the deck.
Hillary Rodham Clinton vowed Wednesday to continue her quest for the Democratic nomination, arguing she would be the stronger nominee because she appeals to a wider coalition of voters including whites who have not supported Barack Obama in recent contests.
"I have a much broader base to build a winning coalition on," she said in an interview with USA TODAY.
As evidence, Clinton cited an Associated Press article "that found how Sen.
Obama's support among working, hard-working Americans, white Americans, is weakening again, and how whites in both states who had not completed college were supporting me."
"There's a pattern emerging here," she said.

She's right.

Are you trying to refute her arguement Bert?

Yes.
I see the pattern.

I like how "hard-working americans" is now clearly a euphemism for "white americans."
I'll be so glad when she goes away.
I remember really disliking the Clintons during Bill's presidency, but then, very early on in the Bush presidency, I started looking back on the Clinton years with fondness.
This campaign has reminded me exactly why I hated them the first time around.
I'd still vote for her over McCain, though I'd be holding my noise while I did it.

Amazing stuff. Hillary throwing out the 'white' race card.
Desperate, pathetic and a rather sad commentary.

I'm just guessing here, but I think we're both seeing the same one.

Don't you two go agreeing now or I'm going to have to lay down.

There is certainly no dispute about her having a "broad base".
Assuming, we are speaking anatomically, of course.

I'm feeling a bit faint myself.

Can Obama carry the south?
Has the presidency ever been won w/o carrying the south?
