2007 Mustang GT vs. 2006 Chevy Coblat 2dr. - AcuraZine Community
I know this doesn't involve a CL, but I just wanted to share a story from last night.
My friend (Mustang) and I were at the football game and some guy Colbalt 4-cyl) challenged him to a race.
So we tell them we will meet them at the Brunos, that's where everyone meets on the weekend to race.
We meet them and agree to take it to the highway, which was pretty much empty.
Naturally we smoke them, we hit 130 and let off.
Then we had one more race from a roll, once again we won.
Guy told us he thought the stang was a V6, thats the only reason he wanted to race.
I have to give it to him though, that Cobalt was pretty quick.

^ lol, it was pretty intense.
Oh, BTW the guy in the Z71 doesn't want to race anymore after seeing how the Mustang performed.
They all wanted to know where my car was, my dad was driving it since his car is in the shop.
I'm pretty sure I would have dusted him.

The guy with the cobalt thought it was a V6 when he challenged my friend.
When he opened the hood he had an "oh shit" look on his face.
As far as mods he had some green neon and some cheap racing wheels.

How do you mis-judge a mustang?
I mean, from any angle, the differences between a V6 and V8 mustang (from the factory) are pretty clear lol
From behind - Dual exhaust, GT badge
From the side - Wheels and GT Badge
From the front - Extra pair of lights and hood

Why waste the gas unless he's juiced.
Now my SS cobalt on the other hand...

Idk how he misjudged it, I didn't think you could confuse the two.
My friends raced him so he wouldn't look like a puss in front of the guys from school.
