Age of Conan - Lucinde (App) - Silver Dragon Stronghold
- What brought you to our website?
I found it on the AoC Guild forums
- This recruitment process requires that we get to know you a little bit.
Tell us about yourself.
- Do you enjoy Role Playing in-game?
Yes, I play mmos mainly for the community and roleplaying.
The most fun I've had in mmos has been with guilds that are structured like this one.
- Which online game interests you?
Both AoC and DDO intereste me.
I've played DDO but currently am not subscribed, however, I would like to play it again.
I am subscribed to AoC and I am enjoying it, but I'm finding myself playing solo often, and I would much rather play with friends, so I have been playing less because I am no longer in a guild.
We expect all of our AoC players to use Ventrilo while they are in game.
Is this ok with you?
Yes, but my mic does not work.
I have Ventrilo and will been listening until I get a new mic.
- Do you intend on being active on our website forums and Events Calendar?
Yes, forum roleplay is also something I really enjoy and did a lot of when I played EQ2 in a guild.
I usually check forums everyday and post pretty often.
- Once you learn how, we want you to create events or RSVP other scheduled events as your RL schedule permits.
What are your thoughts on this?
My playtime is somewhat limited, depending on when event are run, but if I know in advance I can usually make events.
How frequent do you figure on creating an event for others to participate in?
I anticipate having much more time for playing and creating events during the winter months, but I always think about ideas that would be fun for an event and try putting something together as time permits (and if there is enough interest)
You comfortable promoting these events in the Ventrilo and/or guild chat channels?
Yes
- Have you been playing MMO's for a while or are you just getting started?
I've been playing mmos since Ultima Online, roleplaying right from the start as my original roleplaying in tabletop Dungeons and Dragons began winding down (friends moved away or lost interest)
- Do you feel comfortable with the website and it's resources?
Yes, but I could not find where to list my character names in "Edit Signature" in the User CP
- We expect all players to submit and update their characters in our website ROSTER.
Are you ok with this?
Certainly
After reading the above content, why do you think it might be important?
Characters are the basis for why I play.
Roleplaying and events should be based around characters, and so keeping up to date will be very helpful
- What kind of character do you typically play?
I typically play a Ranger/rogue, but in AoC, I am playing a Conqueror and enjoying it so far.
In DDO I play a Ranger
Tell us about your main character?
She is a level 48 Conqueror, from Cimmeria.
I have a lengthy biography to post but I won't do it here.
To summarized, she is a patriot, with a strong love for her homeland and her people, and this sort of forced her into a life of a Soldier when she would have much rather have led a simple life.
- If you violate ANY rules defined within the gaming EULA you will be removed from this community.
You ok with this?
Yes
- What time of day do you typically play?
How often? I typically play at night, after 8:30 or so, EST.
I like to play for at least a few hours, for at least 2-3 times per week.
If events are planned, I can usually make them as long as they are at night.
- Are you affiliated with any other guilds?
Not at this time.
I was previously in a guild called Abydos, but activity has been minimal at best, and I removed myself from the guild.
- How do you think you can best help this community?
Throught roleplay, in-game help and activity, and forum posting in the form of advise and storytelling.
- Which of the characters listed in your forum signature (see STEP 3) do you play the most?
What level is your main character?
I have only one character in AoC, a level 48 Conqueror that I play exclusively.
In DDO, my main character is a Ranger named Lucinde.
It has been so long since I played I don't remember what level she was at.
- We are an Argonnessen Server guild within Dungeons and Dragons Online.
Do you play on this server?
For Age of Conan we play on the Cimmeria server.
Do you play on this server?
I am on a different server in DDO, but for AoC, which I am mainly applying for and currently subscribed to, I am on Cimmeria.
- For Age of Conan, we require that your are familiar with our Guild Structure and Advancement described here (Age of Conan Guild Advancement).
Are your prepared for your journey to Vassal?
Tell us what you think of this quest ahead of you?
I can find your great city, with a picture to prove it.
Lucinde has slain many a fearsome beast.
Adding another notch to her blades will be an easy task.
I'm not sure if I am the one to be giving advice or tips to anyone, but in her travels Lucinde has seen some things that she could pass onto other that might help them in battle (if I cannot think of some guide or tip in gameplay terms, I am sure I can think of something in terms of RP).
I plan on joining events often.
The biography for Lucinde will be posted for all to see (and it is still a work in progress, as I do my best writing taking things directly from gameplay related events).
If I actually lived in Hyboria, I would definitely NOT want to be a Soldier such as the character I play.
She dies often . .
. I probably would be very comfortable with the life of an ordinary citizen in Connall's Valley, or a craftsman.
A fisherman, perhaps .
. .
When all of my tasks are completed, I will send word to officers

Thank you very much for the welcome, everyone.
I am excited about getting on AoC tonight and hopefully meeting some of you.
I've got to say that I've done a lot of searching for guilds, and I think I've finally found what I've been looking for.
I'll be up for questing or roleplaying (or both) tonight, but mainly I'll be looking to meet the members.
