HELLO EVERYONE AND THANK YOU ALL FOR VOTING IN THIS WEEK'S COUNTDOWN!
SINCE THIS IS THE FIRST COUNTDOWN OF THE SEASON WE WILL BE COUNTING
DOWN THE TOP 20 PERFORMANCES OF AMERICAN IDOL THAT YOU VOTED FOR!
ENJOY!
Each performance in the Top 10 will include the following:
>STATS- amount of positions gained/lost, debut, or return
>PEAK- highest position reached on the countdown
>DAYS ON COUNTDOWN- the number of days it was in the Top 10
>NEWS/INFO- greatest gainer (in points), greatest gainer (in positions), hot shot debut, or fall of the day
>SEASON- the season on American Idol the performance was on
>DAYS AT #1- amount of days at the #1 position (only for performances at #1 this will show)

We will start off today with your #20, #19, and #18 performances.

Kidding, of course.
Pretty nice countdown.
Even though I'm not too big on Jordin, I will say that that was a good performance.
Kind of surprised that YGLABN isn't higher, but I guess a year later, some of it's "awesome" factor has worn off, heh.
I also thought that One Rock N Roll Too Many and Superstar would be higher, but then I realize that with all the Idols we have, they did pretty good for making it in Top 20.

yeah there are quite a few performances that are pretty low this year when they were way on top of the countdown last year.
A lot of performances lose their hype when type elapses but some dont.

with her power ballad rendition of "A House

DAVID COOK "Always Be My Baby"
SEASON 7 l STATS Debut l PEAK #9 l DAYS ON COUNTDOWN 1
American Idol Season 7 winner David Cook
is the first to debut on the countdown today
with his version of Mariah Carey's "Always
Be My Baby".
Next up we have your #8 and #7 performances.
Both are debut performances, both
from the same season, one is from a guy and the other a girl.

Petite and only 4"11' season 7 ninth place finisher
Ramiele Malubay debuts on the countdown at #7
with her performance of "YDHTSYLM" from the Top
24 semi final round of 2008.

As Simon's judges choice from the Top 3 round of

Rainbow" as Katharine's song choice which makes it on
today's countdown rounding out the Top 5.
DAVID ARCHULETA "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me"
SEASON 7 l STATS Debut l PEAK #4 l DAYS ON COUNTDOWN 1
Seventeen year old season 7 runner up, David Archuleta
debuts on the countdown for the first time with his performance
of "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me" which he performed
at the Season 7 finale and got rave reviews from the judges.
