Is McCain Running for President or Big Oil?

McCain does far more for the big oil companies that he does for the rest of us, the American Public. So let the big oil companies vote for him.

We need a leader runn for US!

Big Oil covers the bases with candidates...don't worry they pay Obama just as much attention

If both candiates are the same in respect to Big Oil, then why does McCain support over three billion dollars in tax breaks for the already wealthy oil companies who are turning in record profit reports, by the way, and Obama is advocating increasing their taxes?

Has anyone gone to McCains website and read his Lexington Plan.

The opening of offshore oil fields is a short term fix.

The rest is long term.

The technologies are just not advanced enough to switch over so quickly.

Plus we have to worry about paying off the war.

We can't do all this at once people.

So far Obama hasn't presented us with a plan for the environment, oil or new tech/energy, federal debt, food prices, green house effects, etc...

When one comes forth and looks at the whole picture it is all linked to oil.

The environment is effected by oil, food prices go up, our national debt goes up because of our war in the middle east that has somewhat to do with oil.

So far Obama hasn't come up with a solution its all complaints as to what is happening.

All he says is he will make changes.

Give me a solution to what I have been hearing for years and maybe I will think about voting for him.

So what legislation is John McCain trying to push through the congress currently?

He is currently trying to get congress to allow big oil companies to drill for oil offshore.

Now he knows, as does the oil experts, that even if the big oil companies started drilling tomorrow, it would take from 5 to 10 years to see one barrel of oil from that particular oil platform and would do absolutely nothing for oil prices in the mean time.

So the idea is that we are supposed to let the oil companies gouge us until John McCain is into his second term of office, even if the price of a gallon of gasoline reaches in excess of $20 per gallon in the interim.

After John McCain would begin his second term of office, what would he care about us?

He can only serve a maximum of 2 terms so he would not be trying to do anything to get reelected.

He's out of office after 2 terms automatically. Can we afford 5 to 10 more years of companies by the thousands going out of business, growing unemployment, record home foreclosures, a trillion dollar winless war, and hidden technology that John McCain will not even talk about publically?

I don't believe we can even withstand 4 more years of this doomed economy.

Something has to be solved now in the short term.

Stifled technology must be implemented and be made available to the general public as soon as possible.

One of these technologies would include the air powered automobile, which can reach speeds in excess of 65 miles per hour, travel 125 miles on a single charge of air costing only $2 in electricity, emits far cleaner emissions, and is available both in a 3-seater and 6-seater model.

So basically, for $4, you could travel 250 miles and help solve our global warming problem at the same time.

Joe: If both candiates are the same in respect to Big Oil, then why does McCain support over three billion dollars in tax breaks for the already wealthy oil companies who are turning in record profit reports, by the way, and Obama is advocating increasing their taxes? why? what good would that accomplish?

First of all, the context of this statement in question is in relation to which candidate supports big oil.

It's McCain all the way as far as suppoting his big oil buddies who also advocate rape. Here's a direct Quote: from one of John McCain's primary fundraisers and campaign supporters.

His opinion on a woman being raped;

"As long as it's inevitable, you might as well lie back and enjoy it." This is a Quote: from oil tycoon Clayton Williams who raised over $300,000 for McCain's presidential campaign that John McCain said he had no intention of returning to the wealthy oil man.

The oil companies are raping people, because people are stupid.

I really can't blame them. If the sheep are dumb enough to let their lives be run by the concept of cheap gas, then maybe they deserve to be ripped off.

President Obama's plan is for needed investments for clean and renewable energy.

He is interested in lessening America's addiction to oil.

The oil companies, naturally, don't care for that plan but President Obama is not representing the oil companies.

He is representing the "people".

It is John McCain who is representing the oil companies with multi-million dollar tax cuts and plans for off shore drilling, the cost of which will swell more and more into the billions and billions of dollars as the drilling starts up and finally gets into full production.

Obama is looking to the future, Warren.

Renewable energy like wind and solar.

McCain is looking away from the future and toward the oil companies to see what he can do that best suits THEM, not us.

As for President Obama's plan for the environment is concerned, his name is Al Gore. And now it's time to watch the video and and educate yourself.

So basically, for $4, you could travel 250 miles and help solve our global warming problem at the same time. How long would it take us to switch to other forms of energy.

Can you give me an estimate?

Plus we will need oil after we turn to alternative forms of energy.

What is used to make our plastic containers...lol.

We can't cut down all the trees for making card board boxes and paper...lol.

Plastic lasts...boxes and paper only last so long.

Always something around the alternative. Like if we put up wind turbines they will say the elecrtomagnetic waves put off by them are causing an imbalance in the brain that leads to cancer...rofl. Oh and if you say that John McCain is not doing anything in Congress then him and Obama are tied on that front...lol. Go to Ross Perots charts website.

Look at his chart on taxes versus government spending.

No matter who got into office in 2000 we would have been spending out our ass after September 11.

The chart shows that after September 11 government spending went through the roof. Kerry would have sent troops to Afghanistan.

I doubt he would have sent anything to Iraq.

For him not to go after the Taliban and Osama bin Laden would have been stupid and wishing that we were to get attacked again.

Yeah i know how Obama allied himself with the doomed ethanol plan.

Now alot of the corn fields that we didn't have enough of are flooded in the midwest.

That made alot of sense.

Warren: I'm Glad you asked a really good question.

This is by all means recognition that a short term plan is essential. Compressed air is the beginning to our solution.

We have air here in the US so we already possess the fuel.

It doesn't need to be refined like crude oil does. There are cars being mass produced as we speak in India.

The car maker is TATA MOTORS and for $2 in electicity, you can travel 125 miles at over 65MPH. Now, the earliest they can arrive in the states is 2010, but that is faster than 5 to 10 years with off-shore oil drilling.

He talked about some policy at the end of the video but he didn't explain it.

The rest of the video was mccain bashing.

Pure bs. didn't sway me either way.

The people who invest in the new way of things are going to be rich beyond belief.

I'm not seeing the Tata car on their web-site. post up a link or article so i can read up on it.

Thanks
