iPhoto '08 and Apple TV - Mac Forums

Hi all, Does the Apple TV (in its current incarnation) support iPhoto '08 and the "Event" metaphor? if not, is there an updated (to Apple-TV SW) to be expected?

Any rumors when? Yonz

Any rumors when? Yonz No, ATV 1.1 does not show Events, just albums. Kevin

Apple TV does support events.

Select the ATV device in itunes, click on the photos tab.

With iPhoto as the option for your photo source, choose the middle radio button to sync the number of events ...

Is there a way to keep certain photos from syncing with my ATV?

If I hide pictures in iPhoto then I can't see them in pages.

If I don't hide them they end up in my ATV.

Do you see where I am going...?

What to do?

Sweet revival of a thread, over one year old. I do hope Apple provides better integration with iPhoto events as I live and die by these.

We surpassed over 7000 family photos since switching to digital a few years back and must keep them organized.
