Black Gas has a very different take on Zombie's, very very different and AWESOME.
First off, the source of the infection is from a mysterious "Black" gas that is locked deep within earth, once infected you lose complete control of your body, but not mind!
This means people are running around eating and killing everyone but know its wrong and know its horrible and want to stop it, but can't, imagine the horror of eating your wife or best mate and being well aware of it, Favorite scene in the book is http://i427.photobucket.com/albums/p...Comics/Eat.jpg very disturbing I must say.
The art style is not the greatest I have ever seen,but, its very good and fits this comic very nicely, extreme gore, nudity (sorta) and very dark all paint a beautiful and scary world for the characters within.
Speaking of characters, it follows 2 people who are off camping on a small island where they awaken from slumber by an earthquake, on there way back to town they notice the black smoke heading towards town,once there, shit hits the fan.
Tyler and his girlfriend Soo (...
Yea) are the main characters, follow them through their struggle as they try and leave the island, since the comic is only III issues you don't have much time to get a good feeling for each character.
The story is very different and the pace of the comic is very quick, bloody and violent.
I recommend this comic to any Zombie fan out there.
It's no "The Walking Dead" (Robert Kirkman) but it's still a great read, especially for those out there looking for something different then the normal "virus" that infects the living and turning them into "mindless" zombies, because they are not mindless in this comic at all.

I have 6 listed due to the fact that 28 Days/Weeks Later don't really have Zombies in it, they are not dead, but close enough.

Fuck I almost forgot, get this movie right away, "City of Rott" Fucking amazing little animated movie, Hilarious and very gory, about an old old man who talks to himself, surviving a Zombie Apocalypse.

Well for a movie with a budget I'd have to say "House of the Dead" ..
Wow that was a pile of shite.
For a movie with barely any budget probably "Hood of the Dead" pathetic.
And lastly "The Return of The Living Dead II-IV-V"
"The Return of The Living Dead III" was so-so, visually amazing, costumes, just horrible acting/story.
