More intriguing offers involving Adrian Peterson - Footballguys Forums

Trade 1 and ESPECIALLY trade 4 really get me going.

I like Trade 3 and 4 just because I think SJax is going to outscore AD this season This post has been edited by kethnaab: Jul 5 2008, 05:16 PM

I also like them all. I like 1 the least though.

Which one to take depends on which players you like to cheer for

Offers 1 and 2 are very good...

I may pull the trigger on one of them **5 More Spots** IDP Redraft, $60 Entry w/ Weekly Payout, Full line ups, KR, 3RR **Ultimate NFL Manager Experience / Slow Auction Dynasty / Low Cost ($25) Free Football Sim League and Player Creation Guide AFFL: Never Forget

I like 2. Brady and Witten are gems.

MJD has major upside. The cyclical movement of history was now intelligible, or appeared to be so;

And if it was intelligible, then it was alterable.

But the principal, underlying cause was that, as early as the beginning of the twentieth century, human equality had become technically possible.

It was still true that men were not equal in their native talents and that functions had to be specialized in ways that favoured some individuals against others;

But there was no longer any real need for class distinctions or for large differences of wealth.

In earlier ages, class distinctions had been not only inevitable but desirable.

Inequality was the price of civilization.

With the development of machine production, however, the case was altered.

Even if it was still necessary for human beings to do different kinds of work, it was no longer necessary for them to live at different social or economic levels.

Therefore, from the point of view of the new groups who were on the point of seizing power, human equality was no longer an ideal to be striven after, but a danger to be averted.

Not being a PPR league I dont think trade #2 will help you a lot.

Daniels number's are getting better and I think he will improve on last year stats.

In a non-ppr league #1 is a pretty good offer, Peyton, well he will put up solid number's, and Cutler (depends on how marshall is) could be in for a very roller-coaster year.

I would go with #4, but with the caveat of giving t.

Jones instead of turner.

NO WAY should you give up both of the younger back's

Trade 3 is my favorite since you take only a small hit at RB and get a top QB.

I like Cutler, but I think Palmer is a clear upgrade.

Meanwhile it can be argued that SJax will put up at least as many points as ADP.

I don't like any of them. Why subscribe to Footballguys?

I like deal 2 the most. Team 01: Brady--S.

Jackson/Portis/Graham--Wayne/Marshall/Bowe/Burress--H.

Miller Team 04: Brees--Jones-Drew/Portis/Parker--A.

Johnson/Jennings/Evans/Rice--Olsen Team 05: Rivers--Gore/Portis/Graham--Houshmanzadeh/Holt/Chambers/Rice--Witten Team 06: McNabb--Portis/McGahee/Lewis/Parker--S.

Smith/Ch. Johnson/Bowe/Coles--Gates Team 07: Brady--Barber/Portis--S.

Smith/Houshmanzadeh/Bowe/Thomas--Gates Team 08: Rodgers--S.

Johnson/Bowe/Holmes/Ro.

Williams--Davis Team 11: Roethlisberger--F.

Jones/White/R. Johnson--Marshall/Jennings/Berrian--Witten

Something to keep in mind also when dealing with a 4-keeper league...high performance players who AREN'T keepers have value I could sell Witten for a late 2nd rounder perhaps, to a dude who is 'this close' to making it I could sell a guy like MJD or McGahee for a 1st rounder and perhaps improve my lot.

I could probably get a late 1st/early 2nd for Colston I'm just not convinced that AD stays healthy.

I was one of the freaks running around saying that AD was going to be a rookie sensation, but I drafted him this offseason (our inaugural year) with the idea that I would get him and Chester Taylor (a 1st and 8th round draft pick) and turn them into a 1st and perhaps a 3rd or 4th. Now, 1 of a few things can happen.

If AD stays healthy, then I lose.

However, if Turner and Jonathan Stewart end up panning out really well, that could leave me with a pile of trade bait to upgrade my QB later.

Obviously, WR is covered and I don't want to mess with that as I don't think my team is weak enough to require it.

I like Cutler to have a good season in a yardage-friendly scoring system and I REALLY REALLY want SJax because I think he is going to have another 2006ish type performance. I might try to get SJax and McGahee for AD and Thomas Jones.

I doubt they'll go for it, but I can only try.

I would keep the roster you have and wait for T Jone or M Turner to appreciate.

I like both this year.

I would not move ADP for any of the offers, but seek to upgrade my roster through other means.

I like 2 and 3 formerly known as Little Big Head

Deal #2 is the only one I'd consider. Team 1: Palmer--LT/S.

Jackson/Portis/Turner--Fitz/Smith/Edwards/Calvin--Gates/Cooley Team 2: Palmer--Portis/McGahee/Stewart--Smith/Edwards/Calvin/Evans--Cooley/V.Davis Team 3: Brees--Lynch/Portis/Bush--Smith/Edwards/Calvin--Cooley Team 4: Hass--MJD/Portis/Bush--Randy/Smith/Marshall/Calvin--Cooley Team 5: Palmer--S.

Jackson/Portis/Deangelo--Fitz/Smith/Rice/Santana--Crumpler/Zach Miller Team 6: Big Ben/McNabb--Gore/Portis/Bush--Boldin/Marshall/Calvin/Evans--Cooley Team 7: Big Ben/McNabb--AP/Gore/Portis--Smith/Boldin/Marshall/Calvin/Bowe--Gates Team 8: Palmer--AP/MJD/Bush/Rudi--Colston/CJ/Marshall/Calvin--Gates Team 9: Brady--AP/Bush/Portis--Randy/Calvin/Bowe/Santana--Cooley Team10:Palmer--MJD/Portis--Boldin/Welker/Rice/Santana/Walker--V.Davis

Quote: I don't like any of them. i wouldn't do any of them either.

Keep AD.
