FFXIclopedia View topic - 2 Different treasure pools for Dynamis
After seeing items people want drop then auto after only 1-3 people were able to lot, and Relics/Money that only get lotted on by like 1 person per item clogging up the pool) I'd like to see 2 different pools one for Currencies+Relic Weapon/Armor, and another for the other items that drop like Cores, Beastcoins, and the different craftable items.
Or maybe have some options a Dynamis leader (who ever trades in the glass) be able to set pool options like a PT leader can, like set 1 person for all Currencies to goto and free the Pool from that.

Not a bad idea really

I've done many runs, Where it was everyone puts in 1m / X = entery fee and Everything but relic just falls.
Just because a common way is sponsored doesn't make it the only way.
So it would have to give the option.
If there is spelling errors it's because I don't reread what I type.
I type without thinking over and you get really what's on my mind!

I'm all for it. Any form of convenience with no downside is cool by me.

I've never run into this issue before...
If relic drops and it's auto-distributed in about 30 seconds...
Maybe you should slow down how fast you're killing things, I'm sure if you can kill that fast you'll clear no problem lmao

Yeah, I've never had a problem with that, when relic drops in my shell there's only one person (Determined before run based on points) who is allowed to lot on it, that person lots, if he decides to wait long enough that it autolots, tough beans.

It's not that I want to lot on the Relics, but the misc items that the Relics (Weapon+Armor) and Currencies push out of the pool.
They could be 7 Relic/Currency above, say an Infinity Core, 3 more Relic/Currency drop and push the core out even when the other 7 items had been there longer >.<

Eh... that would make me even less supportive of the idea, everything but wootz is fairly worthless.
If you want the items just watch the log and lot when you can.

Not when it enters the pool and is booted out seconds later (cause of Relic/Currency) after only 3 people got to lot on it.
Also 4 of the items I'm saving for skillups: Goblin Grease, Slime Juice, and Orc Liver for Alchemy on my Mule, and Lacquer Tree Log for my Main's Woodworking (I've also been buying them as I see them on the AH for awhile now, got about 1stack of each) An eye for an Eye just makes the whole world blind.

This is an incorrect statement of the treasure pool as it applies to dynamis relic armors.
The argument is based upon the erroneous fact that all items in the treasure pool have equal presence, and that it's always first in, first out.
This is not so.
Relics have priority in staying in treasure pools over Ancient currency.
Lets say you have 10 pieces of currency in your pool, and a piece of AF, and 2 more currencies drop.
3 pieces of original currency will be pushed to their highest bidder.
AF + 2 currencies put in.
Lets say, you obtain 10 more ancient currencies from killing, while the AF is in the pool.
The AF will be pushed up to the #1 position, but will not be forced out of the treasure pool until everyone has lotted/passed, or the time has elapsed to distribute.
The 2 currencies that dropped with the AF will be distributed before the AF forced out of the pool.
This is why it's common to see examples of treasure pools with 6 AF in them.
It's not 6 AF dropping back to back, it's 6 AF obtained across a bunch of mobs, with a bunch of currency in between them all, that has been sorted out.
Additionally, I believe the relic weapons hold the same priority as currency.
And trash/beastmen drops like Lancewood logs and wootz ore have LESS priority over currency, and it is possible for them to be auto-distributed before they hit the treasure pool at all.
Gimme piano gifts.
