Blue Band in FZ28?: Panasonic Talk Forum: Digital Photography Review
Klaus very kindly posted a link to a comparison of the FZ28 vs.
FZ18 at:
http://www.pbase.com/goddy/fz28_v_fz18&page=all
I noticed when looking at these pictures that, in the low-light comparison section, there appears to be some blue banding on the left side of images K1 and L1 and maybe even J1.
(Direct link: http://www.pbase.com/goddy/lowlight_test)
I mentioned this in that thread, but am starting a new thread, since it seemed important enough for focused attention.
Since I'm a novice photographer and have not yet purchased a Panasonic camera, I would like to hear what some of you experts see and think about that...

Try as I might I can see no blue banding on K1.
Stop pixel peeping!
There is nowt wrong with it.

Yep, bands, but it looks as though the target is not flat (see o2.jpg).
What you're seeing might be reflections of ambient light on semi-matte or shiny paper.
The shadows indicate a raking light from the right.
The maker of the photos could probably confirm or deny.

There are no real negatives in digital photography.
Fujifilm One Four Zero Zero Zoom, circa 2000
Kodak Dee Ex 7630, circa 2003
Panasonic Eff Zee 18, circa 2008

Well, I've had another pixel peep at K1 & L1 and I still can't see it.

Doesn't show any blue band on my monitor.
