D2X - AC adapter - HELP: Nikon D3 - D1 / D700 Forum: Digital Photography Review

On the D2X, is the battery charged while using the AC adapter? No, I have not RTFM.

I have however, FTTFM and checked TC and Index... If it is in the manual, please advice as to what page you found it on. Thank you for your help, Gart

(The clue is "adapter", not "charger") ;)

I could only hope it did.

Left (thought I packed it) the charger at home and this is the start of an 9 day trip.

Tuesday I'll be in Hendarson NV and have already found a charger for $125 at a camera store in Las Vegas.

The price of stupidity.

I am so glad that I did pack the AC adapter (didn't use it much till now).

Here in Sedona I'll use it a lot.

I am also glad I have a portable battery starter for the truck.

I'll be able to use it (with an Inverter) and save the battery for more remote places (I ain't lugging the portable battery far from the truck). Thanks for the quick...but depressing...response :)
