Holster case for 30D+100-400L: Canon EOS 40D - 10D Forum: Digital Photography Review
Wishful thinking maybe, but is there any holster case that is big enough for a 30D with a 100-400L attached?
I'd like to carry that camera on one side and my 350D with 17-40L on the other side to save me carrying a camera bad on my back/shoulder and to save changing lenses all the time...

Not sure, but maybe a Think Tank Digital Holster 30?
Or a 50 if you have a grip.

Enough for a 30D with a 100-400L attached?
I have the Tamrac 515 and 519 near the end of this page
http://www.tamrac.com/g_holstertelezoompac.htm
The 515 is what I use with "normal" lenses;
The 519 will handle the 100-400L (without the hood).
Either case accommodate side cases for spare lenses;
With the 515 I carry the 17-55 f/2.8, 10-22 and 70-300 DO IS.
The cases the other poster provided link to look interesting, too

I've got the Think Tank Digital Holster 50 and it fits my 40D with the 100-400L lens and the lens hood attached in the ready position (not reversed) comfortably.
Well made, no complaints.

I use a Lowepro 75 AW Toploader when using my 100-400 and my 40D.
I usually hang the bag over my shoulder and do not use the straps to hang the bag on my chest.
I then use another strap to keep the Toploader from swinging while I walk.
It works well but it is expensive.
