Old Television shows making a comeback
Someone said that Cilla Black was coming back with Blind Date, I personally would rather she came back with Surprise, Surprise, I loved that programme the way she reunited people who had not seen each other for several years.
What programme would you like to come bac k and why.

I think it woud be good to see Blind Date for another series ...
As long as they kept it as cheesy as it used to be!
A few shows I would also like to see back are George and Mildred, Bless this house, Fawlty Towers and Black Books
...but I suppose these types of shows were stopped before they got boring

Be good if something like Dad's Army was braught back, but with new people.

I have read that they are trying to bring Blind Date back but it was not with Cilla Black, they were looking at other presenters, I think one they were considering was Davina, but not sure I can't remember will have to try and find the article.
We watch a lot of the old programmes on UK Gold, they are often better than the ones we have now.

Davina presenting Blind Date would be ironic considering she used to present StreetMate - remember that show?

What is streetmate?
Take it's something similar to blind date.

Davina would go out into the street of any UK town and pick a single guy or girl to fix up, then they'd seek out a member of the opposite sex to hook them up with.
They'd go out on a date and then give their opinions afterward.
The team would follow up a couple of weeks later to see if they got together afterward or not.
Holly Willoughby actually did a short series of Street Mate recently, but I'm not sure as to the status of the show and whether it'll be coming back to TV or not.

I saw the one with Holly and I think it was Ferne Cotton, but did not see Davinas.

Family Affairs, Crossroads and Brookside!
I adored them show, watched them through my whole childhood and then they were suddenly axed, I was devastated.
So yes I'd like to see them comeback!

I've never heard of the krypton factor.
Harley Street's starting this Thursday and after the first series I want it to make a comeback!
