DC Comics Message Boards: Detective #849 (possible spoilers) ...

This just isn't Batman's month.

Did anyone else think Hush's plan is super insane?

I put the issue down at the end and was freaked out.

Anyone have an idea as to how Batman is going to get out of this one?

I wouldn't know because I stopped buying this book after the gruesome ending of #848 (Catwoman's heart). The covers are horrible, the plot line way too grim and too depressing. When things turn around, I'll be back.

Not a clue. And that's what makes this such a awesome storyline.

I just hope that when Catwoman gets her heart back (she better!) she kicks the ever living sh*t out of Hush.

XD XD XD I have to wonder about the inclusion of Peyton into Hush's past hough....

Love it, but I'm wondering if she's going to be popping up soon (didn's she die?) maybe that's why Hush did that to Selina, since Bruce is sorta of responsible for Peyton's death. As for the covers, I think they're very beautiful in an artsy/graphic design kind of way (definitely not traditional superhero comic book ink and digital art fare).

Looks like watercolors to me.

I love it when artists try something different with cover art.

Reminds me of when they had James Jean do Batgirl covers.

Loved his beautiful depictions of comic book characters.

Great stuff.

I'm curious as to where Hush's final revelation is going (as he takes off the bandages).

Makes me wonder about who exactly we're seeing in Outsiders, FC and such. (someone else can spoil it if they deem it necessary.

I'm going to let it be for another post or two till I really need to go into specifics.)
