Start'em Young - Badger & Blade
My six year old grandson and his 3 year old sister are visiting for 3 or 4 weeks.
He likes to get up early (5:30 am) with his Grampa, help make coffee, and shave.
Yesterday he slept in so I was alone in my morning routine.
I did get a phone call about 8:30 form him saying he was sorry he missed me this morning but could he use the tall bottle.
I asked him if he was sure that was the one he wanted as he could only use one each day.
His reply was " Well, sometimes grampa I like the green, but sometimes today I like the tall bottle".
I said "OK, but do your think you need Gamie's help".
He told me no he could handle it OK.
This is the line up, in order, by my lavatory for the aftershaves;
Ogallala Bay Rum Limes & Peppercorns
Ogallala Bay Rum
Polo Green
Old Spice
Tommy Bahama Signature
Tabac
Aqua Velva Classic
Aqua Velva Sport
Pinaud Clubman
Master Bay Rum
Of course, the green is Polo and the tallest bottle is the Masters Bay Rum.
So the question is, is six (6) to young to let them make their own decisions about which aftershave to use in the morning?
I AM so proud of him.

How cute!
I'd just make sure he's able to shake the Ogallala well (and stress with him the need to do so).
I find it burns noticeably if not well shaken;
Probably much more so on young skin.

If he's ready to make the decision, let him!
RESISTANCE IS FUTILE!(even at a young age and when you aren't shaving)

Man, I want grandkids.
However, I don't want kids.
We'll see how this plays out.
|
 |
I'm not to big a fan of kids either that whole teenage thing is just hell on everyone involved.
In fact, I have a couple you can have, but I'm keeping the grandkids.

You reinforce his self confidence, strengthen his decision making skills, and shower him with positive affirmation..How wonderful to have such formidable impact on someone that will be here long after we've gone..
